Applications are invited from the citizens of India for filling up the following temporary position for the sponsored project undertaken in the Department of Interdisciplinary program in Systems & Control Engineering of this Institute. Project code: RD/0117-MHSAPT0-001 Project title: Swachhta Action Plan (SAP) Manual and Automatically readable Ultrasonic water meters-product design and field testing Sr. Project Engineer (1 Post ) Consolidated salary: Rs.50000 - 70000 + Rs.6000.00/- Out Of Campus Allowance (if applicable) p.m. Qualification: PhD BTech/BE/MA/MSc/MCA/MBA or equivalent degree with minimum 6 years relevant experience MTech/ME/MS/MDes or equivalent degree with minimum 4 years relevant experience Essential: Must have working experience in embedded product design including: (a) Working experience in ultrasonic technology for flow measurement, (b)Working experience in wireless data communication using latest technologies, (c) Low power product design with low and ultra low power devices, (d) microcontroller HW and firmware development with expertise in C language programming for micro controllers, (e) embedded database development - memory structure, data storage, and retrieval. Candidates who also have working experience in automatic meter reading, PCB design, and custom glass LCD design will be preferred.
