Superconductivity brief Course, deals with basics of superconductivity, including Meissner effect, electrodynamic response, -type-I and type-II superconductors etc.
Qualifications: B.Tech (Material Science) and M.Sc (Physics, Material Science) and PhD students, lecturers (Solid state Physics)

1 : Principles of Superconductivity London equations Penetration depth, Coherence Length
2 : Type-I and Type-II superconductors, linear response theory,BCS theory,Boundary value problems at high frequencies
3 : Basics of Josephson junctions,SQUIDS,Application of SQUIDS, Quantum Logic circuit
4 : Introduction to High-Tcsuper conductivity, Graphite superconductors, Fe-based superconductors
Certification:
– The exam is optional for a fee.
– Date and Time of Exams: April 27 2019 (Saturday) Morning session 9am to 12 noon; Afternoon Session 2pm to 5pm.
