- Entire application process is available online only.Admissions are for Various M.Phil/Ph.D programmes of the University, as per UGC Regulations, 2016
- Intake of M.Phil/Ph.D has been considerably increased this year to 720 seats for the forthcoming academic year.
- BA Programmes (Undergraduate) have 459 seats for admission.
- There are 1118 seats on offer for the Postgraduate programmes (MA., M.Sc., M.Tech., M.P.H) of the university
- Part-time Programmes (Diploma and certificate Courses) of the university have 240 seats.
The University will hold Entrance Examination for admission to various programmes of study from 27th to 30th December, 2017 in 53 cities in India and also in Kathmandu (Nepal). (Through Entrance Examination)-M.Phil/Ph.D., MPhil/Ph.D through JRF, Ph.D., Ph.D through JRF, M.Tech., MPH., PGDE, M.A., M.Sc., MCA, B.A. (Hons.) in Foreign Languages and Part-Time courses. Prospectus outlining the details of the admission process can be found on JNU website and candidates need to go through it before filling up the form.
Important Details for Candidates for JNUEE 2018-19:
- Application submission process is available online, starts from 15th September 2017 at 10.00 A.M
- Exam will be held in 53 cities in the country also in Nepal (Kathmandu)
- Candidates can apply online at https://jnu.ac.in
- Exams will be on 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th December 2017
- There are 720 seats for M.Phil /Ph.D course
- There are 459 seats BA and 1118 seats for M.A., M.Sc., M.Tech., and M.P.H Courses.
Online Application: Application form has been prescribed for all programmes of study. Candidates can apply Online on payment of prescribed fee by logging on to JNU website www.jnu.ac.in. The site has been designed in a user friendly way to help candidates for applying Online in a step-by-step fashion. Online application portal will remain open as per the following schedule:
