Prime Minister's Scholarship Scheme (PMSS) 2026-27
The Welfare and Rehabilitation Board (WARB), Ministry of Home Affairs, Gove ment of India, has released the notification for the Prime Minister's Scholarship Scheme (PMSS) 2026-27.
This initiative recognizes the supreme sacrifices made by personnel of the Central Armed Police Forces (CRPF, BSF, CISF, ITBP, SSB, NSG) and Assam Rifles by supporting higher technical and professional education for their dependent wards and widows.
Scholarship Financial Amount
- Female Students: ₹3,000 per month (₹36,000 per annum).
- Male Students: ₹2,500 per month (₹30,000 per annum).
Eligible Professional Degree Courses
Scholarship is granted for first professional degrees recognized by respective statutory apex bodies: B.E., B.Tech, MBBS, BDS, B.Pharm, B.V.Sc, B.Sc Nursing, MCA, MBA, and agricultural professional programs.
Minimum Educational Qualifications
Applicants must have scored a minimum of 60% marks in Class 12 / ME / Diploma to be considered in the merit order. Application is submitted online through the National Scholarship Portal under Ministry of Home Affairs schemes.
