The Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) was established with the approval of Cabinet on 1 November 1973 as an independent recruitment agency in pursuance of the recommendations of the Gajendragadkar Committee.
About ICAR-NET-2019
ICAR- National Eligibility Test (NET) is a qualifying examination for determining eligibility for the position of Lecturer/Assistant Professor in the State Agricultural Universities (SAUs) and other Agricultural Universities (AUs).
Candidates clearing the National Eligibility Examination (NET) will be eligible to apply for the post of Lecturers Or Assistant Professors in SAUs/AUs.
Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) will hold ICAR-NET-2019 examination during 09.12.2019 to 15.12.2019 (tentatively) online mode at 32 centres across India in a staggered slot-wise examination format as per the rules and Scheme of examination.

For UR Candidates: Rs.1000/-
For General EWS/OBC Candidates: Rs.500/-
For SC/ST/Divyang/Women: Rs.250/-
The Pay of application fee should be done online: Debit Card/ Credit Card/ NEFT
Qualification
Masters Degree Or equivalent in the concerned disciplines and specialisation.
Age Limit
Candidate as on 01.07.2019 should have attained the age of 21 years.
How to apply
Candidates seeking admission to the Examination must apply online in the prescribed application form available at the official website i.e. http://www.asrb.org.in/
The Online application process begins from 15.10.2019, at 11.00 am onwards to 04.11.2019 till 5.00 p.m., after which the link will get automatically disabled.
