What is Right to Education? (RTE)
Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act or Right to Education Act (RTE) is an Act of Parliament of India enacted on August 24th 2009. Right to education has been recognized as a basic human right in number of Inte
ational conventions. The RTE act describes the modalities of the importance of free and compulsory education for child between the age group of 6 years and 14 years in India under Article 21a of the Indian Constitution.

- Every child gets the opportunity to attend school.
- Every child attains, effectively, the minimum levels of lea ing.
- Every teacher is at the school.
- The community is actively involved in the betterment of the schools, thereby encouraging a mass campaign for primary education.
Ka ataka State Education Policy: Providing free and compulsory education for all children up to the age of 14 within a period of 10 years, As per directive principles of State policy enunciated in the Constitution of India from the date of commencement of the Constitution.

Documents Required for RTE Ka ataka 2019-20 Admission:
- Applicant Aadhaar Card (If Aadhaar card not available then Aadhaar card applied application no.)
- Birth Certificate (For Age Eligibility Click here to check age Eligibility)
- Income and Caste Certificate issued by a competent authority.
- Parents i.e Either Father's or Mother's Aadhaar Card
- Govt. Approved Address Proof. Such as Aadhaar chard/Driving License/ Ration Card/ Bank passbook/ Passport/ Voter ID etc.

Age Eligibility for RTE Admission 2019-20:
LKG Age (Date of birth) range Required from: 01-08-2014 to 01-08-2015 (Age should be between 3 years 10 months to 4 years 10 months)Age For Ist Std./ Grade I (Date of birth) should be between: 01-08-2012 to 01-08-2013 (5 years 10 months to 6 years 10 months)

Steps for Applying for RTE Ka
ataka 2019
STEP 1: Before Applying for RTE, Please find the available schools in your area by visiting the Website link here
Visit the official website of RTE Click here to visit the website.
STEP 2: Register at the website with Aadhaar number (Mobile number which is registered in Your Aadhaar must be with you during registration) and Get your application number registered on the system. The application number and password will be communicated on your registered mobile.
STEP 3: With application number in your hand, log in to the account, Start submitting your child details, parent details.
STEP 4: Select the residence address accurately to list schools within 1 KM and within 13 KM range from your house.
STEP 5: After selecting the schools select the required standard (i.e LKG Or Grade 1/Std. I).
STEP 6: Upload the required documents and Confirm the application.
STEP 7: After final submission, take the printed application along with the required documents for your future reference
